Atticus Circle - a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating and mobilizing fair minded straight people to advance equal rights for LGBT partners, partners and their children - and Fine By Me, Inc. are merging together to provide more opportunites for the friends and supporters of LGBT folks to demonstrate their support. As of September 15th, the Gay? Fine By Me T-shirt Project will officially become a project of Atticus Circle. By the end of 2008, Fine By Me will no longer be a separate organization; instead Atticus Circle will manage the t-shirt project as a part of its new program "Campus Circle."

OUTLaw, the GLBT student association at UT Law School, will be giving away free "Gay? Fine By Me" t-shirts in conjunction with National Coming Out Day. The suit was filed after the principal of Ponce de Leon High School suspended several students for wearing pro-LGBT apparel and actively sought to foster a homophobic atmosphere in the school.
Starting this year, we'll be working with Atticus Circle to help Fine By Me participants continue standing up for equal rights, even after they've participated in the T-Shirt Project.
